Coco Chips Blocks are made from screened coconut husk chips sized between 4 and 14 mm, giving a coarser structure than cocopeat alone. Mixed into a growing medium, the chips create air pockets that improve drainage and root oxygenation — exactly what salt- and moisture-sensitive crops like orchids need.
Because the particle size is controlled through screening, the chips give consistent aeration batch to batch, whether used on their own or blended with cocopeat for a combined water-retention-and-drainage mix.
Coco chips are slow to decompose and can be reused across multiple growing cycles, which keeps them popular for potted ornamentals and nursery substrates where longevity matters as much as drainage.
Supplied as compressed blocks or in bulk packing according to buyer preference, with particle mix and packaging open to discussion for recurring programmes and private-label orders.
