Low EC Cocopeat Blocks are washed and screened to reduce soluble salts, giving growers a consistent, low-EC substrate for applications where salt sensitivity is critical. The reduced electrical conductivity means less pre-treatment before use and more predictable results for hydroponic and nursery programmes.
Coco peat increases the porosity of a growing mix, keeping it loose and airy for stronger root development, while its high water-holding capacity means the medium can be used efficiently — a little goes a long way in most recipes.
Being an organic medium, coco peat has a high cation exchange capacity, allowing nutrients to be absorbed and released to the plant as needed. It is easy to rewet, quickly absorbing water even after drying out — unlike traditional peat.
Available as 5 kg, 1 kg and 650 g compressed blocks or briquettes, made to your requirement, the material expands several times its dry volume once hydrated and is well suited to hydroponics, nursery and greenhouse crops, seedling media and potting-mix blends.
